Express Engine

Express Engine / Automated Document Sharing is an application that will allow the user to automate all of the faxing within NextGen EHR. It uses a rule-based logic to setup and deliver based on the providers. It will also upload generated documents to the Patient Portal and if enabled the fax is eligible to be sent through NextGen Share.

Express Engine uses a Practice template that allows administrators to setup, build and maintain the rule-based logic for fax automation. Once setup is completed, administrators will not have to access the template on a regular basis because maintenance is minimal.
